Gemalix stood about five feet from the temple’s east wall center now with his back facing it as Shroud rushed at him. The lizard’s right blade arm swung for his chest but he brough his left arm up forming a five-foot big silver gem shell on it that blocks Shroud’s strike. Without a second wasted he kicks his right foot up into Shroud’s chin and fires off a ring shape pulse of silver gem dust. It hits into that chin and sends his foe flying upward. It only takes a second for Shroud to flip around and stop a foot above Gemalix. With the lizard’s back growing three tails made of shadow with blades sticking out of their tips from it. These stab down for his head so he jumps to the right to dodge then flings his shell shied up at Shroud. Forcing his foe to drop down to dodge it only for him to swim up and punch his right gauntlet’s bladed ring toward the lizard’s chest. Shroud’s right arm gets in front in time to block that, and then two of those shadow tails stab into his shoulders. Then

Gemalix had been moved from outside of the temple into a room at the east end of the temple. Being a cube shaped one about thirty feet big with a purple crystal floor and walls. Along with a black crystal ceiling. The south wall of the room had a ten-foot-tall arch shaped doorway in the center made of red crystal, with another directly across from it on the north wall. The yellow cable could be seen in this room running along the middle of the ceiling vertically through open sections at the top of the north and south walls. At the east wall’s center Gemalix was now kneeling down with a red crystal manacle attached to chains was locked onto both of his wrists. Restraining them above his head together with his back against the wall. As two black crystal arms had grown from the wall on either side of him with five fingered gloved hands attached to them. Swimming through the control room’s north door Adrian and Jenny finally came to the Purification orb’s chamber. Being a sixty-foot big dome shaped one with red crystal for the floor, along with purple for the walls and ceiling. In the middle of the east, south, and west walls were ten foot tall rectangular black doors two were the secret side entrances while the south belonged to the control room. In the center was a five-foot-tall red crystal pillar with the white purification orb’s left half resting on the tip. Each of the chimeras in the temple’s first chamber had four wings on their backs, two at each side with three tails each about three feet long. All of them surrounded Tim as he hovers in the center of the room, holding his sword out at the north end while making sure to focus on as many of them as possible. There were about 500 of these chimeras in total though from what he could see that was the limit as no more were popping out at the moment. “This’ll definitely be a big work out.” Tim noted calmly. Incredibly anxious to know how things were going up ahead, only for a certain merboy to glomp her to the floor in pure excitement. Both of her’s quickly hugged back and the two friends couldn’t help but cry with tears flooding down their cheeks in pure joy and relief. “I was so scared you were gone!
